SkinStylus Microneedling

Micro-Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is an advanced aesthetic treatment designed to address fine lines, acne scars, and enhance overall skin appearance. During this procedure, a device with tiny needles is used to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface.

Benefits of Micro-Needling

  • Collagen Production: Stimulates the skin’s natural collagen and elastin production.
  • Reduction of Fine Lines and Wrinkles: Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Acne Scars: Helps to minimize acne scars and other types of scars.
  • Skin Texture: Enhances skin texture and smoothness.
  • Hyperpigmentation: Helps to reduce hyperpigmentation and sun damage.
  • Enhanced Product Absorption: Creates micro-channels that allow topical gels, creams, and serums to penetrate deeper into the skin, maximizing their effectiveness.

Procedure

During a Micro-Needling session, one of our highly skilled estheticians will apply a numbing cream to ensure comfort during the treatment. The SkinStylus, is then gently moved across the skin’s surface, creating controlled micro-injuries. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s healing response, leading to the formation of new collagen and elastin fibers.

Post-Treatment Care

After Micro-Needling, you may experience mild redness and sensitivity, similar to a mild sunburn, which typically subsides within a few days. It’s essential to follow post-treatment care instructions provided by your skincare professional, including avoiding sun exposure and using gentle skincare products.

Results

Patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment as collagen production continues. Micro-Needling is a safe and effective treatment option for rejuvenating the skin, reducing imperfections, and enhancing the absorption of skincare products.

Some patients only require a single treatment, once per year to achieve optimal results. It is recommended for most patients to receive a series 3 treatments spaced one month apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 4-6 treatments.
